Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all steel inspection and audit activities at ATMI
Create and maintain detailed weld inspection reports
Coordinate field weld inspections and resolve discrepancies
Supervise and assign tasks to a team of 5 to 6 QC employees
Ensure that all welding operations comply with company quality standards and codes
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve steel-related issues
Qualification
Required
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
ASNT Level 2 certification
Minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role within a QC environment
Minimum of 3 years of weld inspection experience
Proficient in technical report writing and interpreting welding standards
Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and D1.4 welding codes
