Collins Aerospace is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking a TEMPEST Test Engineer to support programs for the US military and international customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct TEMPEST testing, including analysis, test planning, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for all process of testing: analysis/design guidance of the system, test planning, test conducting, data analysis and reporting

Be responsible for Acquisition system and data storage security and lab safety

Less than 10% business travel may be required

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience as a EMI or TEMPEST test engineer

Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing test results

Experience in Configuration Management tools

Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Demonstrated skills in writing/following procedures

Candidate must be able to pass the CPTE I NSA certification and grow to prepare and pass the CPTE II certification

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Preferred

CPTE I certified

15 years TEMPEST test experience

Active/Current Top Secret Security Clearance

Familiarity with following Standards: NSS TEMPEST/01-02, MIL-STD-461A/C/D/E/F/G CE101, CE102, CE106, CS101, CS02, CS103, CS104, CS106, CS114, CS115, CS116, CS117, CS118, RE101, RE102, RS101, RS02, RS103, RS105, MIL-STD-462, NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92, NSTISS TEMPEST/2-91
