They are seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead the development of innovative solutions across their technology platforms and drive the commercialization of their products.

Responsibilities

Create the vision for the next generation of Claros’ solutions, incorporating innovative technologies and scientific know-how to enable new capabilities within Claros’ technology platforms
Plan and execute project plans which result in timely completion of technical milestones
Ensure design and validation goals for technologies are achieved to further advance Claros’ solutions to commercialization
Address technical challenges and implement innovative solutions
Communicate a clear development roadmap intricately tied to business objectives with considerations for operations, resource allocation, and external forces that may impact the achievement of desired outcomes; effectively translate the roadmap and vision for stakeholder groups such as cross-functional leadership, investors, and business partners
Hire, develop, and provide mentorship to a driven and diverse team of scientists and engineers to advance Claros' solutions into commercial solutions tailored to customer applications
Work closely with management to reinforce Claros’ technological solutions through continued intellectual property initiatives

Required

Proven track record of deep technical innovation
Ability to create the vision for the next generation of solutions incorporating innovative technologies and scientific know-how
Experience in planning and executing project plans resulting in timely completion of technical milestones
Ability to ensure design and validation goals for technologies are achieved
Skill in addressing technical challenges and implementing innovative solutions
Ability to communicate a clear development roadmap tied to business objectives
Experience in hiring, developing, and mentoring a diverse team of scientists and engineers
Ability to work closely with management to reinforce technological solutions through intellectual property initiatives
Demonstrated ability to understand complex technologies and articulate them to both technical and non-technical audiences
Extensive experience and expertise in research and development processes, methodologies, and best practices
Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire a team of researchers and developers
In-depth knowledge of industry and market trends
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred

15+ years of Leadership experience in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, Environmental Engineering, or a related industry
Experience in PFAS remediation or photochemical reactor development
Proven track record in successfully commercializing scientific and environmental solutions
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
