Responsibilities
Design and facilitate professional development sessions that support teachers and leaders in implementing evidence-based ELA practices
Collaborate with National Coaches and the Academic Services Team to develop and implement effective ELA instruction for students
Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers and leaders to ensure fidelity of implementation of ELA instruction
Conduct regular classroom observations to identify areas of strength and growth in ELA instruction
Collect and analyze ELA data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions
Collaborate with campus and regional leadership to develop and implement ELA improvement plans based on data analysis
Communicate regularly with regional leaders about student progress and instructional initiatives
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and trends in ELA instruction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Valid teaching certification
Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience
Strong knowledge of evidence-based ELA practices and instructional strategies
Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate effective professional development sessions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong data analysis skills and experience working with data to inform instructional decisions
Knowledge of current ELA trends and research
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience as a ELA coach, instructional coach, or schools leader preferred
