Responsibilities
Lead the engineering team responsible for designing and developing energetic and electronic products to support our Launch Vehicle, Missile's, Satellite and Warfighter markets
Demonstrates success leading Kaizen events that deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Builds team capability in structured problem-solving and fosters a culture of continuous improvement
Engage, coach, and empower team members
Champion a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement
Support organizational design, change management, and workforce planning to enable agility and scalability
Plan, execute, and deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget
Bring extensive experience in high-mix, low-volume engineering environments
Understand the unique demands of aerospace and defense product lifecycles
Qualification
Required
BS/MS in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 15+ years of project, design, or related energetics and electronics engineering experience
Experience in managing, training, mentoring and coaching leaders
Proven ability to lead through change and influence cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
Passion for people, innovation, and continuous improvement
Proven experience in leading products through all stages of product development and into production
Demonstrated problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change
Demonstrated experience in improving engineering or manufacturing processes to improve profit margins or lead time metrics
Must have or be able to obtain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance and be capable of working on U.S. DoD and ITAR restricted products

Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or technology industries
