Simplex is a leader in environmental remediation, construction, and recycling with over 20 years of experience. They are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-year, $400M environmental remediation and construction project at a coal power plant site, focusing on the removal and management of Coal Combustion Residual (CCR). This role involves overseeing project phases, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations while driving innovation in remediation systems.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage all phases of a large-scale remediation and landfill construction project, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

Oversee and coordinate a core team of engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, and health & safety professionals

Serve as the main interface for clients and key stakeholders, maintaining communication and building trust throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company procedures

Manage project finances, reporting, and forecasting against established schedules and deliverables

Periodically visit the site for inspections and problem-solving; most work is office-based with minimal required travel

Drive innovation and excellence in remediation systems and construction management

Required

Proven experience in leading and managing large CCR (Coal Combustion Residual) remediation projects

Preferred

PMP or PE certification is a plus

The ability to relocate or temporarily move to the project site would be a significant advantage
