They are seeking a Senior Technical Lead for Data to ensure system stability and integrity while overseeing engineering activities and managing the systems engineering team.

Responsibilities

Oversees engineering activities supporting the organization's information systems being developed, modified, or operational. Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software

Manages engineering activities of an organization's information systems

Lead the Systems Engineering staff and activities of an organization's information systems

May provide support to, review, maintain, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems

Organizes and leads the systems engineering team

Executes and manages risk assessments and develops mitigation strategies

Plans the cost, schedule, and execution plan for the projects

Develops and reviews technical performance metrics

Experience with the planning, management, leadership, and coordination of multiple concurrent tasks, each with strict deadlines for a large-scale highly available system that is integrated with business-critical systems contemplated in this PWS

Demonstrated understanding of the software development/enhancement/maintenance lifecycle

Experience with data encryption, data storage, retention, etc

Ability to perform complex technical tasks

Strong technical understanding of Information Technology systems and services

Strong technical understanding of the areas of work and many of the technologies contemplated in PWS

Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services for the areas of work contemplated in PWS

Experience with agile development/scrum to understand how enhancements, defects, or other requests impacts the architecture of the application

Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
