Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounting team, including general ledger, project accounting, and fixed assets
Oversee the month-end close process and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and support external audit processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
Drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives such as ERP implementations and acquisition integrations
Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX 404, and financial systems
Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred
CPA, MBA, or MS in Accounting
Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries
