Responsibilities

Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections at piece-part level, utilizing, and in accordance / compliance with the current applicable technical data and manuals, customer workscope requirements and data acceptable to the applicable regulatory authorities, such as the FAA, EASA, and UK-CAA
Follow detailed instructions for inspections required for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service instructions, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices

Required

Must be familiar with and maintain proficiency and remain current with the inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools, and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility
Primarily responsible for performing detailed visual and dimensional inspections at piece-part level, utilizing, and in accordance / compliance with the current applicable technical data and manuals, customer workscope requirements and data acceptable to the applicable regulatory authorities, such as the FAA, EASA, and UK-CAA
Following detailed instructions for inspections required for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service instructions, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices
Must be able to safely manually lift up to fifty pounds
Must have the ability to meet the physical demands of the job like sitting, standing, pushing and pulling
Able to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, noise, temperature extremes and other elements relative to the production shop environment
Able to work flexible hours and / or different shifts and overtime, if required
Must be able to utilize and wear various Personal Protective Equipment, including eye protection, and be medically approved to utilize applicable respirator protection as needed
Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in Repair Station duties
Must comply with the Repair Station's drug-free workplace policy
A minimum of three (3) years' bench inspection experience on one or more of the following product lines: GE, CF6, CF34, GE90, CFMI -3, -5 and -7, PW 2000, PW 4000, RR RB 211, Trent 700 & 800
Thorough knowledge of assembly and inspection techniques, along with industry processes, standards and practices
Comprehend and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including FAA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations
Understand, read, and write the English language
Acceptable oral and written communication skills
Able to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time
Minimum of a High School Diploma, equivalent or better
Must hold a FAA Mechanics Certificate with a Powerplant rating at a minimum
Able to work under stress along with multiple priorities
Able to interact well with persons inside and outside the Repair Station
Able to work with or without supervision
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must be familiar with the purpose and use of industry standard precision measuring tools
Must have extensive detailed knowledge of, and the ability to navigate, research, utilize, and apply various types of technical data, including Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals and regulatory agency data (e.g. Airworthiness Directives)
Must be coachable and able to listen, learn and follow instructions

Preferred

An Airframe and Powerplant rating is preferred
