Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is dedicated to servant leadership and cultural values, and they are seeking a Program Coordinator for Serenity Place South. The Program Coordinator will oversee operations, ensure patient care needs are met, and maintain relationships with the community while supervising Health Tech staff.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor Health Tech/patient interactions and ensure the patients' mental and physical care needs are met
Ensure the Health Techs support patient compliance with mental health and sub-acute crisis residential program guidelines and log patients' daily actions and behaviors
Collaborate with Health Tech staff by working on the floor at least 6 hours of every 8-hour shift
Perform Health Tech duties as needed and train new Health Techs
Prepare and maintain Health Tech's work schedules
Supervise Health Tech staff and provide performance feedback monthly
Facilitate treatment groups as assigned
Regularly inspect the facility for cleanliness and safety
Ensure CARF safety standards are met through conduction of drills and safety screenings
Perform drug testing
Ensure program vehicle(s) safety/maintenance is maintained

Required

A Bachelor's degree in human services with one (1) year of case management experience
An Associate degree with a minimum of two (2) years of case management, or related experience
High school diploma or equivalent and minimum four (4) years case management or similar treatment experience
Proficient with a variety of computer software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and desktop publishing

Preferred

Previous Human Services training and experience in the addiction field
