Responsibilities
Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
Supporting mission critical systems including: Microsoft Domain administration, GPO management, VMware, Cisco Route/Switch, Firewall Management and Saltstack
Providing problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
Supporting IT systems operation from standard processes to problem identification and resolution for all connected client, server, storage, and network
Monitoring and communicating the operational status of IT systems to customer management
Optimizing system performance, operation, and resource utilization
Providing detailed analysis and feedback to internal customers
Configuring and managing operating systems
Conducting/facilitating installs/loads of operating system software
Maintaining patch sets across a distributed set of nodes, taking into account rolling updates to avoid impacting mission load
Maintaining the integrity of network components
Implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
Self-sufficient with the ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to interface with customers and users
Experience working closely with customers to gather requirements for functional system and infrastructure solutions
Ability to support mission critical systems
Enjoy working as a member of an integrated technical team
Self-motivated with a desire to build new skills
Familiar with Agile frameworks and methodologies
Skilled in administration of a Windows Linux mixed environment
Skilled in administration of VMWare tools
Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems

Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance
Masters/Bachelors + 4 Years
Associates + 6 Years
High School/GED + 9 Years
No Degree + 12 Years
Preferred
Linux system administration skills
Experience/Knowledge of Cisco/Dell/Juniper Switches and Servers
Any networking or cybersecurity experience
