Responsibilities

Prepare site construction documents for public and private projects, including parks and recreation, education, commercial/retail and single family
Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications. Assist with conducting public meetings and workshops
Site/civil development including construction site plans, grading design, storm water management systems design, landscaping, erosion and sediment control design, and construction details using Civil 3D
Familarity with storm water design a plus but not required
May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning
3+ years of experience in landscape architecture
Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, GIS/ArcView and Power Point
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview

Preferred

Registered Landscape Architect preferred but not required
Familarity with storm water design a plus but not required
