Responsibilities
Visiting learners in the workplace to assess their knowledge and learning for Plumbing courses across Levels 2-3
Conducting practical assessments
Monitoring and tracking progress
Training and assessing and delivering the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification within the workplace
Building strong relationships with those in the Construction industry on behalf of the College
Ensuring that work placements are safe environments conducive to learning
Qualification
Required
Be qualified to at least level three
Hold a Certificate/Award in Assessing (Ideally IQA)
A understanding of the apprenticeship provision
Have proven industry experience in the Plumbing industry
Have a full clean UK driving license and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes as the role will involve travelling to local businesses
Have excellent administrative and IT skills
Have experience of assessing and working with high profile employers would be advantageous
The ability to plan and deliver a flexible workload
Preferred
It is also highly desirable for candidates to hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance
