They are seeking a Functional AI Product Manager with deep FP&A and strategic finance expertise to partner with product and engineering teams, translating finance workflows into product requirements and influencing product direction.

Responsibilities

Translate FP&A workflows (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting) into product requirements
Define data structures, reports, and metrics that finance leaders depend on
Design workflows for forecasting, scenario modeling, and management dashboards
Help architect data flows across ERP, payroll, CRM, and banking systems
Work directly with CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leads to understand pain points and validate product design
Prototype models, dashboards, and processes that can scale across multiple customers
Debug AI outputs, shape prompt libraries, and test automation workflows
Use SQL/Excel/BI tools to model financial outcomes and validate product accuracy

Required

4–8 years in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance systems at a growth-stage or mid-market company
Strong Excel/Sheets and finance modeling skills; SQL or BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) a plus
Experience with ERPs (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Intacct), CRMs, and finance stack integrations
Excited to work at the intersection of finance and product; comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
Curiosity about AI and automation in finance workflows
Ability to partner with engineers, designers, and customers to co-create workflows
