Responsibilities

Primary Role: Work with existing program managers to aid in the successful execution of their respective programs
Project financials
Project & program deliverables
Team task and labor tracking and management
Communication of project health and status to both internal and external stakeholders
Positive, “can-do” attitude and talent/experience leading people and cultivating healthy relationships
Proven ability, capacity, and aptitude with planning, organizing, coordinating technical work, and obtaining cooperation from others
Ability to follow and help execute technical schedules
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient organizational and documentation skills
Working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Professional Suite

Required

Experience in executing federal research and development (R&D) contract
Ability to develop process and work within defined procedures, to include government requirements
Experience interfacing with a wide range of internal disciplines, customers, and active subcontractors
Specific demonstrated experience in project financials tracking, data and hardware deliverable management, and subcontractor management
Background with experience in projects in the Government or Defense Contracting Industry
Positive, 'can-do' attitude and talent/experience leading people and cultivating healthy relationships
Proven ability, capacity, and aptitude with planning, organizing, coordinating technical work, and obtaining cooperation from others
Ability to follow and help execute technical schedules
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient organizational and documentation skills
Working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians in defense or aerospace industries
Minimum of 1 - 5 years of industry experience as directly supporting or leading project execution of design and development programs
No Security Clearance is required, but it is highly desired
