Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and drafters
Set clear expectations, goals, and project vision
Manage team performance and delegate tasks effectively
Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to enhance skills and productivity
Oversee project execution, ensuring quality deliverables and timely completion
Review and approve engineering design submittals
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Participate in project estimation and proposal development
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Engineering (required)
Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required)
Minimum of 10 years of transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility sector (required)
Extensive experience with PLS-CADD for transmission line design (required)
Strong knowledge of design codes and standards including NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI
Proven experience coordinating with substation, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance stakeholders
Deep understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction practices in the industry
Strong project management skills, with a history of delivering high-quality work on time
Commitment to safety and compliance with all safety regulations
Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in unstructured and deadline-driven environments
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience coaching and guiding teams
Excellent collaboration, business, and technical communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy
