Responsibilities

Lead and take professional ownership of projects in a technical capacity

Perform engineering work for industrial and mining projects

Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic analysis calculations for storm drainage

Perform geotechnical calculations for slope and foundation stability

Calculation of construction and earthwork quantities

Visit project sites for the purpose of data collection and monitoring, performing investigations and / or performing construction inspection services

Utilize a variety of computer programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D software to undertake designs and computations

Write memos and calculation packages to document work performed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada, or the ability to obtain within 6 months

6+ years of previous work-related experience

Working knowledge of engineering software including, but not limited to: Civil Design & Grading (Civil 3D), Hydrology & Hydraulics (HEC HMS, HEC RAS), Geotechnical Design (GeoStudio, Rocscience)

Possess valid driver's license

Willing to travel by car and airplane, including overnight travel for domestic projects
