Select, review, transcribe (for audio passages), and translate short audio target-language passages from authentic sources at the required Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) level

Qualification

Required

Native or near-native proficiency in the language

Academic and/or professional background in linguistics, second language teaching, assessment, or translation

Technological capability of searching the Internet, recording, and editing audio files using software, and using Microsoft Office applications

Bachelor's degree or higher

Preferred

Experience with content selection for language proficiency development or assessment

Familiarity with the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) language proficiency scale

Translation experience or familiarity with translation principles
