Responsibilities

Providing post-sales on-site support of Juniper Networks products

Developing and maintaining expertise on the products deployed within the customer's network

Contributing to project meetings to report status, issues, and risks

Participating in all phases of development with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases

Assessing and documenting the current site network configuration and user requirements

Traveling as necessary

Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with CI polygraph

The ideal candidate will have Senior Network Engineering Design/Architecture, Operational, and Support experience in Data Center network environments

Juniper products to be supported: QFX, EX, Apstra, Junos

Deep understanding and can demonstrate technical expertise in the configuration, troubleshooting and operation of technologies and protocols commonly implemented in Data Center networks including Layer 2 switching technologies, EVPN, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Multicast, OSPF, BGP, and associated tunneling technologies (GRE, VXLAN, etc.)

Provides technical knowledge and analysis, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation

Contributes to project meetings to report status, issues, and risks

Participates, as needed, in all phases of development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases

Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task orders or project requirements

Uses advanced mathematical principles and methods to solve exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions

Assess and document the current site network configuration and user requirements

Travel as necessary

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to effectively work independently and function in a team environment

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure

Ability to prioritize work activity to achieve customer and account team goals

Expert-level relationship management, communication skills, and interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively work with customer engineers and JTAC to resolve hardware and software issues and implement solutions

Ability to effectively communicate case status updates and deliver root cause analysis

Support informal and formal technology briefings and training sessions

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Preferred

Experience with Automation Frameworks, DevOps Concepts, scripting, and Programming Languages (Kubernetes, Ansible, Python) a plus

Certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE are a plus

Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX)
