Manager, Project Management, Finance Product & Data Solutions

Capital One's Finance Product and Data Solutions (FPDS) organization is establishing a Program and Project Management team to support its product portfolio. Responsibilities

Plan, design, manage and execute strategic and tactical project plans to ensure timely delivery throughout the full product life-cycle
Leverage analytical skills, problem-solving skills and sound judgment to: drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure adherence to scope of deliverables, timeliness and budget; and identify risks and dependencies, and discern appropriate mitigation and/or escalation
Forge relationships with key stakeholders across all levels to ensure timely delivery of commitments, utilizing a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach
Identify and implement ways to improve and streamline business processes, prioritizing standardization and scalability
Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
Utilize program tracking and reporting tools to provide visibility and scalable ways to assess value and track value realization
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands and operate effectively in ambiguous situations to deliver results
Design, develop, and manage project plans, RAID trackers, and project artifacts, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Communicate efficiently and with excellent judgment to senior leaders and diverse groups throughout the organization to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

Required

Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Project Management OR Product Management OR Program Management OR a combination
At least 3 years of experience with Agile OR Waterfall Or Hybrid methodologies OR a combination

Preferred

Masters or MBA degree
Previous experience working in a Product environment
7+ years of Project Management experience
PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and MS project
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
