They are seeking a Staff/Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the backend of their Moloco Commerce Media product, focusing on building an ML-based online advertising platform for the retail media industry.

Responsibilities

Developing an ML-based online advertising platform for the rapidly growing retail media industry

Building and developing the enterprise-ready solution

Leading feature development, design, optimization, testing, and maintenance of software applications and solutions for internal and external end users

Mentoring others on the team and leading high-impact projects

Driving innovation in MCM, setting the technical vision and roadmap for the team

Enhancing the system in various aspects, including scalability, availability, and performance

Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives, offering technical expertise and guidance

Designing and implementing server APIs and web services for customers and partners

Writing server-side code that handles millions of requests per second

Building on public cloud infrastructure

Ideating new features for the next generation state of the art advertising platform

Required

8+ years of software engineering experience using one or more modern languages such as Go, Java, Python

Experience with enterprise SaaS applications

Outstanding problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions

Interest and experience in platforms in the advertising or e-commerce domains

Experience working with large-scale distributed systems

System design and development skills; from gathering requirements to design to implementation to production

Experience in Cloud/Big Data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCE, GCP, Beam, Spark, BigTable, BigQuery etc.)

Programming fundamentals, testing, and common algorithms and structures

Strong analytical troubleshooting skills

Growth mindset, with a passion for staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and a willingness to share knowledge and mentor others

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
