Affiliate Operations Specialist (Human Resources) (27995)
Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) is a multispecialty medical practice group that provides administrative, practice management, and human resources services to over 3,000 clinical providers. The Affiliate Operations Specialist is responsible for managing employee concerns, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with training and health assessments.

Responsibilities
Providing general support to the site PAGNY office and providers
Managing all employee concerns as the initial point of contact
Onboarding of new hires through effective communication with recruiting specialists and hiring managers
Logging and tracking of applicable human resources forms
Consistent updating of employee records in HRIS and other systems
Managing compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory trainings, continuing education, annual health assessments, and work evaluations
Acting as the primary point of contact for all credentialing and onboarding
Tracking all new hires, ensuring onboarding is smooth and thoroughly reviewed
Maintaining relationships with providers and staff by checking in periodically
Leading and facilitating recurring new hire orientation and other activities
Providing hands on guidance for timesheet processing, benefits, continuing medical education (CME), payroll and holiday calendars
Managing all HRIS transactions in a timely fashion and making change requests ensuring accuracy
Following up with the appropriate personnel and communicating with corporate and H+H approvers for escalated issues
Building and maintaining successful relationships with site leadership, Medical Staff Office (MSO), Occupational Health Services (OHS), H+H Human Resources Partners, Chiefs/Chairs, and other stakeholders
Attending site committee meetings when necessary
Handling routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and/or experience, plus three years of related experience in the healthcare setting
The ability to communicate and interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization is essential
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills both oral and written
Consistently displays the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required
Requires demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize in a deadline driven environment
