Responsibilities
Lead development of our automated underwriting engine and lending platform, with Python as the core foundation
Write production-level code—you’ll be the most technically skilled person in the room early on
Partner with business leadership to design and launch consumer-facing apps and SMB financial tools
Leverage your experience supporting $10M+ raises to partner with the CEO in securing and managing capital
Hire and mentor engineers and product talent as we scale from ~12 to 20+
Translate a massive market opportunity into a scalable, secure technical vision
Qualification
Required
Deep hands-on experience building production systems in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
Background in consumer finance, small-business lending, or real estate finance
Familiarity with automated underwriting, credit modeling, and risk scoring
Proven track record as an early engineer, CTO, or technical founder in a high-growth startup
Has directly supported or led fundraising efforts of at least $10M
Experience bringing new products to market in regulated or finance-adjacent spaces
Skilled at working directly with investors, boards, and external stakeholders
Ability to create and sustain a high-performance engineering and product culture
