Recovery Assistance Services Auditor
The Louisiana Legislative Auditor is seeking leaders to improve governmental accounting practices in the State of Louisiana. The Recovery Assistance Services Auditor will perform a variety of moderately complex activities requiring professional judgment, analytical ability, and communication skills while ensuring disaster funding is spent appropriately.

Responsibilities
Evaluate the sufficiency of documentation to ensure that disaster funding is spent appropriately
Communicate the results of their work on a daily basis and present their findings in a written report
Qualification
Required
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (in any major), meeting the eligibility requirements to take the Certified Public Accountant examination in Louisiana
Possess certification as a Certified Public Accountant
Demonstrate critical thinking and communication skills
Adapt to a broad range of government funding programs and regulations
Perform a variety of moderately complex activities that require professional judgment, intuition, logic, analytical ability, technical knowledge, research skills, and initiative
Be highly organized, self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage their time effectively
