They are seeking a Network Administrator to support the C2BMC program, responsible for planning, deploying, and testing upgrades to the network, along with troubleshooting and providing updates to program personnel.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program

Candidate will be responsible for learning the planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites and help where needed

Candidate will be responsible for traveling to remote locations to perform network installations, perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5+ years of professional experience; or 3+ years of professional experience with a related Master's degree

IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc

Government security clearance (DoD Secret – minimum, Top Secret - desired); you must be a US Citizen for consideration

Knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies

Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF

Network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto

Knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs

Knowledge of multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment

Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio
