Open Sky Education is a national organization dedicated to providing high-quality educational options for all children. They are seeking a creative and driven Social Media and Marketing Intern to support their communications and outreach efforts, focusing on building brand awareness and engaging diverse audiences through digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) across our HOPE GHCA, and EAGLE schools

Capture and edit photos and videos from school events, classroom activities, and community outreach efforts

Create “Reels” campaign to support student retention and enrollment

Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities

Support the creation of marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters, and event promotions

Collaborate with the communications team to maintain brand consistency across all platforms

Assist with the management of website and social media platforms across various platforms as directed

Track performance metrics to help improve outreach and engagement

Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Required

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field

Experience with social media platforms and content management tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite)

Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Passionate about serving Christ by serving His kids through the advancement of Christian education

Loves following the model of Christ to seek to love and serve others out of gratitude for His love and service to us

Lives and acts as a biblical role model and Open Sky Education representative in your life for our scholars, team members and community

Maturing Christ-follower who sees the fulfillment of this role and our mission as an active expression of their ongoing walk with Christ

Agrees to engage in the faith life of our scholars and in collaboration with other team members
