Informatics/Health Services Faculty Researcher
The University of Utah is recruiting faculty for the Department of Internal Medicine to focus on informatics and health services research. The role involves leading AI product development and implementation, as well as collaborating on various health information technologies and research initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead cutting-edge informatics and artificial intelligence product development and implementation and health services research while promoting and facilitating collaboration
Develop, implement and evaluate health information technologies, process modeling, digital health, sociotechnical systems, patient safety, and other areas of health services research including dissemination science, pharmacoepidemiology
Work closely with an active VA operations advanced informatics development group and join a culture of collaborative and innovative research that crosses departments and schools within the University of Utah
Qualification
Required
Possess a PhD, PharmD, MD, or doctoral degree in a related discipline
Currently have secured funding
Demonstrate authorship
Have a program of research
Preferred
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Have working knowledge with VA data
Have working knowledge of cloud infrastructure
Have experience with implementation of artificial intelligence products in real world health environments
