Responsibilities

Perform MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exam in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols in order to assist the referring physician in diagnosis
Prepare and position patients
Inject patients with contrast media
Select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body

Qualification

MRI Technologist certificationRadiography program graduateBasic Life Support (BLS)Patient positioningContrast media injection

Required

Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) with an Associate Degree with focus in medical image preferably MRI
Basic Life Support (BLS)
