Predictive Readiness Analyst
Apogee Solutions, Inc is seeking a Predictive Readiness Analyst to support the United States Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Training and Readiness at the Pentagon. The role involves assisting the Senior Predictive Readiness Analyst in readiness analysis actions for current and future operations across the Air Force, focusing on various operational metrics and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities
Provide expertise on use and implementation of an agile model and analytical software
Demonstrate proficiency in adaptation, verification, validation, and accreditation of core readiness
Maintain and improve emerging technologies and respective databases to provide adaptive predictive readiness and readiness reporting analysis that enables data exchange automation with authoritative data sources
Maintain a configuration management plan and system documentation activity
Maintain document change proposals and emerging requirements
Maintain and update the current model and database sustained with required authoritative databases, as appropriate
Update and maintain requirements document based on current and future format and standards with each module's current and future capability
Provide software management to update and maintain adaptability to emerging requirements
Monitor the state of the authoritative databases used to incorporate DRRS lexicon and associated predictive analysis relevant data environments
Review, update, and provide the necessary self-paced guides and user manuals for system users to operate the system
Maintain and provide comprehensive support to a predictive readiness system users/user group
Maintain and provide support to increase predictive capability breadth and depth expanding tools, techniques, and expertise to fielded systems and/or systems matured in operational concept during this period
Maintain and provide dedicated effort to refinement and enhancements of the model/tool with focus on impacts resulting from resourcing and policy decisions under consideration in the flying hours, operational training, aircraft availability and weapons system sustainment trade space, comparing to and aligning with real world collected data
Maintain and update a predictive modeling approach with the necessary breadth and depth to analyze Combat Air Force (CAF), Mobility Air Force (MAF), Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Special Operations (SOF), Personnel Recovery (PR), Command and Control (C2), Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), Space, Cyberspace, and any other force elements
Recommends, identifies, and selects appropriate model, computer program, database, or similar tool to employ in order to answer questions characterized by variable which are multidisciplinary, cross-domain, complex, non-linear, and ever-changing
Provide means and methods to generate legitimate representations of the readiness phenomena in environments characterized by ambiguous and incomplete data
Identifies the role of non-linear influences and to adequately consider interdependency and co-dependency within the variable sets
Addresses feedback loops and the influences they have on the generation of vicious and virtuous cycles
Qualification
Required
Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
Masters in modeling and simulation, operations research, or other related field
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience to include readiness analysis at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels as well as prior military staff experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in predictive analysis including corporate processes to operational readiness
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading analytics teams and Air Force operations teams
Extensive knowledge of Air Force Operations to include 3 years of experience in supporting Air Staff or an equivalent strategic level
At least 1 year of experience in joint, combined, inter-agency positions
Ability to direct team members in modifying, updating, and using computer generated models
Capable of explaining and defending Air Force readiness analytic models, conclusions, projections, and data during annual audits
