Responsibilities
Complete assignments within a department or activity which utilizes the employee’s academic discipline
Assist in test data collection and analysis to fulfill Closed Loop Corrective Action process
Assist development of reliability mathematical models
Maintain reports for management review
Application of statistics to problem solving
Work cooperatively and efficiently with other personnel
Work with product design engineers to develop and implement reliability-based verification artifacts
Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
Qualification
Required
Pursuing an engineering college degree
Statistical training
Knowledge of standard Microsoft applications
Medium level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Medium level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
Preferred
Strong interpersonal skills including working in a cross-functional team environment
Understanding of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Derive, validate and document failure rates, modes and effects at product level
Experience with Closed Loop Corrective Action System for failure analysis and corrective action
Understanding with Weibull analyses
Understanding of problem solving, root cause analysis and experience with segregating reliability failures from manufacturing defects and misdiagnosis
