Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit
Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations
Driving the business through involvement in the day-to-day operations and ensure policies/procedures are followed by staff
Managing the negotiation process with Sales Associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
Ensuring compliance will all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Ensure protection of customer and company data
Managing Showroom – general oversight of all sales consultants on duty even if on a different sales team to ensure Company policies are followed and enforced
Cooperation and coordination with other Sales Managers to ensure optimum performance in execution of duties and provide lateral support
Determine business shortfalls and developing action plans to improve employee performance
Qualification
Required
Experience in sales management or a similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to set clear vision and goals for the sales team
Experience in training, coaching, and developing sales associates
Strong negotiation skills
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to sales
Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to analyze business performance and develop action plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
