Automotive Sales Manager

Gossett Kia Hyundai South is a leading automotive dealership in Memphis, Tennessee, seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to oversee their sales department. The role involves leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, and maintaining customer relationships to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate our sales team towards achieving sales targets and objectives
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Manage and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Train and mentor sales staff to enhance their skills and productivity
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions
Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
Build rapport with customers to establish customer network
Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
Help manage all other aspects of the sales department
Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects

Required

Proven experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes and techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills

Ability to analyze sales data and generate reports
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
Highly motivated and target-driven
Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
Have quality customer service skills
Possess strong communication skills
Must have a clean & valid driver's license
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment
