Senior Principal Engineer - Hardware Cost Account Manager (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Serve as the Senior Hardware Control Account Manager (CAM) for the STARS program
Contribute input to hardware activities such as monthly variance reviews, quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) reviews, etc
Serve as a hardware lead for proposal estimation and writing, including Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
Work with Mechanical and Electrical Section Managers to ensure the proper staffing of programs and proposals – including outlook loading

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification
Experience maintaining program financial controls including Earned Value Management Systems, budgeting, scheduling, and performance monitoring applications
Experience with business and project management tools and procedures
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Experience with air traffic control or weather system hardware
Experience in technical risk management
Experience with proposal BOE writing
Existing or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance
