The role involves assisting project managers with various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in estimating, project management, and site visits while ensuring safety and quality control on construction sites.

Responsibilities
Assist project managers with day-to-day activities such as drawing coordination, safety reports, daily logs and reports, progress photos, quality assurance and site communication and coordination
Assist with estimating by contacting subcontractors and completing quantity take-off
Quality control assistance
Assist with schedule evaluations and updates
Assist project buyout and preconstruction
Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the work
Attend site visits for new projects
Assist with project budget management
Provide Safety assistance while on job sites
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering OR other related engineering or business discipline with interest in construction
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
Ability to work in fast-paced situations while maintaining focus
Desire to work in a team environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
Ability to sit, stand, climb, and work on active construction sites for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Comfort working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or stairs
This position requires travel to job sites across the US 100% of the time
Preferred
Previous internships are a definite plus, but not required
