Senior Management

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Portfolio Management to manage the entire post-trade lifecycle. Take ownership of operational workflows managed by Portfolio Management, ensuring smooth hand-offs and alignment with investment strategies

Work with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives

Perform daily trade reconciliation to ensure accurate data between internal systems, custodians, and prime brokers

Oversee collateral movements, margin calls, and trade settlements for derivatives and other asset classes

As this is a growing team within the Portfolio Management Department, you will play a role in helping to develop additional infrastructure and automation

Assist in building operational infrastructure by automating processes using VBA, SQL, Python, and other tools to design and implement scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency while minimizing risk

Identify and propose workflows and operational process improvements

Participate in onboarding new accounts and launching of funds, and work closely with Portfolio Management, Product, Capital Markets, and Technology teams to ensure operational readiness

Maintain and distribute static data crucial to post-trade operations processing, such as SSIs, account numbers, commission rate, and fees

Required

5-10 years of experience in trade operations

Intermediate coding skills

Strong quantitative skills and an analytical mind

Highly articulate and organized with strong attention to detail

Start-up firm mentality/entrepreneurial attitude

Have a strong work ethic and the ability to handle a fast-paced working environment

Strong sense of personal responsibility and desire to be challenged

Must work from a wired internet connection

Must be stationed in the US and work during East Coast business hours, with visits to the Washington DC area office a couple of times per year

Preferred

Experience in coding is a plus (VBA, Python or SQL preferred)

Experience with Order Management System (OMS), Portfolio Management System (PMS), Investment Book of Record (IBOR), Accounting Book of Record (ABOR), and Treasury Management System (TMS) a plus

Knowledge of derivatives is a plus
