Responsibilities
Work as a member of the HBS managed services team that provides critical IT Support for multiple HBS customers
Obtain knowledge on a variety of technologies and platforms used by customers as directed by your Team Lead
Perform proactive maintenance duties such as switch/firewall/routers upgrades, server patches, workstation patches, firewall rules, etc
Assist in Remote application and hardware support for switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and storage
Monitor and analyze customer networks, systems, backups, and security appliances
Work with customer’s primary field engineer to perform work on an as needed basis
Cross-Education/Mentoring of other Heartland Interns, Managed Services Engineers, and related personnel
Qualification
Required
Be enrolled in a university majoring in an IT related field
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Preferred
At least 3 months of industry experience
