Responsibilities

Teach a variety of accounting courses in the BBA and graduate programs. Possible teaching assignments may include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Accounting Systems, and the candidate’s choice of specialized accounting courses
Advising students
Commitment to scholarly and service activities commensurate with AACSB accreditation, School and university expectations
Perform additional job-related duties

Required

Ph.D. in Accounting, although candidates in the final stages of completing their doctoral work will be considered and must complete their Ph.D. before the end of their first year of employment
Experience teaching accounting courses
Evidence of academic and professional qualifications consistent with AACSB accreditation requirements
Demonstrated dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners
Official educational transcripts are required at the time of hire

Preferred

Experience teaching accounting and data analysis courses at intermediate and advanced levels
Familiarity with modern-day accounting information systems
Desire to teach courses in accounting-related data analytics areas
Professional licensure such as CPA or CMA
