Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform all CT procedures producing radiographs of designated anatomical areas. The role involves following established procedures, preparing documentation, and ensuring patient care throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities

Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards

Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, progress reports, etc

Performs all CT Scan procedures, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns

Transports patients to CT Scan room; prepares and maintains room for daily activities

Selects and operates equipment as directed

Assists physician in administering medicines as required

Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations

Performs venipuncture

Requests supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times

Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings and workshops

Performs POC Creatinine testing, including blood draw, QC, machine maintenance and competencies

Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Required

Current State License

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (R) or Registry Eligible

Must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age, limitations and planned procedures

Preferred

Sufficient previous experience in a radiology department and in radiologic and CT procedures

Thorough knowledge of radiologic and CT terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy

Associate's degree or graduate of a radiologic technology program
