Responsibilities

Provide strategic technology consulting to law firms and corporate clients
Conduct in-depth patent portfolio analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and monetization opportunities
Advise on telecom technology trends, 3GPP/ETSI standards, and their implications on patents and IP rights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align patent strategy with business goals
Lead and mentor teams conducting in-depth technology research, analysis, and patent evaluation
Translate complex telecom concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders (e.g., legal teams, executives, and investors)
Provide strategic guidance to US-based clients, including industry experts, corporate counsel, CEOs, startup founders, and IP litigators
Showcase thought leadership through published research reports, industry blogs, and whitepapers on emerging telecom and IP trends
Foster cross-functional collaboration, working seamlessly with global, virtual, and in-person teams to align IP strategy with business goals
Cultivate and manage strategic relationships internally and externally, driving business impact and industry influence

Required

Provide strategic technology consulting to law firms and corporate clients
Conduct in-depth patent portfolio analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and monetization opportunities
Advise on telecom technology trends, 3GPP/ETSI standards, and their implications on patents and IP rights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align patent strategy with business goals
Demonstrate deep expertise in telecom network architectures, including 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G
Strongly understand wireless communication protocols (L1, L2, L3) for Base Stations and User Equipment (UE)
Expertise in Radio Access Network (RAN) air-interface technology such as OFDMA, SC-FDMA, etc
In-depth knowledge of 3GPP/ETSI standardization processes and their impact on telecom innovation
Lead and mentor teams conducting in-depth technology research, analysis, and patent evaluation
Translate complex telecom concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders (e.g., legal teams, executives, and investors)
Provide strategic guidance to US-based clients, including industry experts, corporate counsel, CEOs, startup founders, and IP litigators
Showcase thought leadership through published research reports, industry blogs, and whitepapers on emerging telecom and IP trends
Foster cross-functional collaboration, working seamlessly with global, virtual, and in-person teams to align IP strategy with business goals

Expert-level proficiency in wireless communication standards (3GPP, ETSI) and telecom architectures
Strong knowledge of protocol layers (L1/L2/L3) and base station operations
Experience in patent analysis, technical due diligence, and litigation support
Ability to identify patent infringement risks, licensing opportunities, and IP monetization strategies
Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to simplify highly technical telecom concepts to non-technical audiences
Proven experience advising executives, IP litigators, and corporate clients on telecom technology strategy
Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills for reports, whitepapers, and legal documentation
Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset in high-stakes, time-sensitive projects
Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior team members
Self-starter with strong research and analytical skills to identify patent and business opportunities
B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering from premier institutions
7+ years of experience in the Telecom/Cellular Technology industry, with expertise in wireless communication, telecom standards, and network implementation
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

Experience working in R&D, product development, or IP consulting within telecom companies or law firms
Familiarity with patent litigation, licensing, and IP strategy
