Responsibilities
Lead on policy efforts at Isometric across the Americas (with a particular focus on USA, Canada and Brazil.)
Read detailed policy documents (regulations, consultations, etc) and use that deep understanding to develop our policy objectives
Drive forward Isometric’s engagement with the Government, NGOs and industry to achieve those policy objectives
Support Isometric’s commercial aims by engaging with priority buyers and suppliers on policy topics
Apply for and help maintain approvals from relevant accreditation bodies and regulators
Qualification
Required
Experience as a policymaker in government, or directly influencing government policy from the outside
Proven ability both to go deep on policy detail as well as influencing government officials through advocacy
Preferred
background in climate policy
policy background in an adjacent area (e.g. environmental protection, trade policy, financial regulation)
