Olam Agri is a market-leading agri-business focused on high-growth end consumption markets. They are seeking a self-motivated Assistant Trading Analyst to join their Trading team, responsible for managing trade orders, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

Receive orders from Cash traders across the world and place the orders as instructed, with proper tags

Update orders as per the requirement of the traders

Apply discretion and watch the market activity to get the best fills

Record and upload all the trades done during the day into proprietary position managements systems

Prepare daily reports showing the execution done, pending orders, and end of day positions across all the books

Prepare regulatory and compliance reports

Prepare and analyze the cotton risk and position reports for Olam Agri’s Cotton Americas business units

Liaise with the Global Middle Office to resolve trade discrepancies

Collect and collate data from various sources and formats

Prepare reports for dissemination to Global Trading Team

Required

Bachelor's degree

One (1) year of work experience preferably in a trade execution or hedging role within a hedge fund or trade house

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively and honestly with employees at all levels

Ability to work with a diverse team across many geographies

Ability to work under pressure without losing focus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage workload to meet deadlines, while ensuring a high standard of quality

High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information

Preferred

Basic programming ability (Python, Data Scraping) is a plus
