Responsibilities
You will lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions
Lead the engineering efforts in our e-commerce platform, focusing on scalability, user experience, and pricing strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, ML team, and marketing, to develop and implement effective online pricing models
Oversee the development and maintenance of our core systems built on Ruby on Rails and Elixir, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
Mentor and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging team members to explore new technologies and practices
Work cross-functionally with various teams to align engineering activities with broader company objectives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of managing high performing engineering teams
Proven track record in managing and scaling distributed, public cloud-native systems and services
Hands-on experience in collaborating with machine learning teams
Strong understanding of relational database systems (MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred)
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team of engineers
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience in developing and managing online pricing services and systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with NoSQL databases and their application in large-scale environments
Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
A passion for sustainable fashion and technology's role in this sector
