Responsibilities
Work with the ground software team to design, develop and improve our devops engineering
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate continuous build and testing into a broader CI/CT/CD framework
Work closely with software developers, operations personnel, and systems engineers to understand deployment requirements and functional needs
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship is required, due to program requirements
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical degree
5+ years of experience in software development, specializing in devops
Strong experience with Linux
Strong experience with Kubernetes
Strong experience with Docker
Strong experience writing Python or another programming language (Go and/or Rust)
Strong experience writing maintainable automation scripts
Experience working with large distributed web applications
Experience with Helm
Experience with Git
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing
Must be physically able to commute to buildings
Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise
Preferred
Experience with ArgoCD
Experience writing GitLab pipelines
Experience with Jira
Experience with Bazel or Pants
Experience with Playwright
Experience with a code quality tool like SonarQube
