They are seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations, assist physicians with invasive procedures, and maintain radiation safety while ensuring quality control in imaging services.

Responsibilities

Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider
Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver
Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes
Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist
Operates all CT and related equipment
Operates all facility-based computer systems
Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol
Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion
Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT
Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT

Qualification

Radiologic TechnologyCT ImagingARRT CertificationCPR CertificationPatient Care

Required

Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT
Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio
Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification

Preferred

Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
