Start in 2027 SpringBMF is one of Northeast Ohio’s premier accounting and business advisory services firms, providing a variety of audit, tax, and business advisory services to a diverse client base. They are seeking a Tax Intern for Spring 2027, where the intern will perform entry-level Staff Accountant duties, including preparing tax returns and conducting tax research.

Responsibilities
Preparing corporate, partnership, individual and other tax returns and when necessary, conducting tax research
Demonstrating a good working knowledge of accounting, tax and other applicable software
Reviewing workpapers prior to submitting to direct supervisor
Assisting in special projects, as needed
Adherence to the Firm’s Mission and Core Values
Qualification
Required
Accounting Majors, completing their JUNIOR (3rd), SENIOR (4th), or FIFTH YEAR during the Spring Semester of 2027
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Highly detail oriented
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
Ability to work independently, with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
Results-orientation, with high level of personal integrity
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
