They are seeking a highly motivated CT Technologist to perform computerized tomography and ensure quality control on CT scanners for patient care.

Responsibilities

Performs computerized tomography to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention at the request of a licensed practitioner

Performs IV insertion as needed following proper guidelines as established by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

Performs and maintains daily check-ups and quality control on CT scanners as required by credentialing organizations

Required

Graduate of recognized, approved AMA council of Education program in radiological technology

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board

CT registry through the ARRT will be required within six months of hire date

Requires current CPR and AED certification
