Senior Manager, Corporate Development and Integration
Walmart Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Development & Integration to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth strategy through acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. The role involves partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities, build business cases, and execute transactions that expand Walmart’s capabilities and market presence.

Responsibilities
Partner with business units to develop strategies for growth, including acquisitions, divestitures, and equity partnerships
Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, facilitate introductions, and assess strategic fit for Walmart
Lead business case development, including valuation, ROI analysis, and deal structuring to support buy, build, or partner decisions
Manage transaction execution, including negotiations, due diligence, legal agreements, and post-purchase integration
Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership, driving alignment and approvals
Oversee integration or divestment projects, ensuring successful execution and realization of synergies
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and investment banks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field and 3 years' experience in Merger & Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Business OR 5 years' experience in Merger & Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Business Development, Engineering, or related area
Experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or management consulting, with a track record of leading complex transactions
Advanced analytical skills, including valuation, financial modeling, and ROI analysis
Strong project management abilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams through governance and execution
Expertise in negotiation, legal agreements, and due diligence processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to assess macroeconomic trends and business drivers
Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners
Preferred

Master's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related field
Project management experience
