Responsibilities
Conducts research, design, development, and testing of electrical or mechanical hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, mechanical and electrical components
Ensures reliability, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications; may design new or modify existing products
Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical
Qualification
Required
2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
Experience with Signal Processing
Experience with assembling and disassembling hardware systems, equipment, and associated components
Knowledge of the basic principles of electrical engineering, computer engineering, or embedded systems
CLEARANCE: Secret clearance minimum to start
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks
Preferred
Experience with robotics and circuit design
Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering
Experience with troubleshooting circuits
Experience with mechanical work, including electrical boards
Experience with micro controllers and interfacing
Knowledge of computer programming, design software, and system design
Ability to learn client-specific material quickly and present a professional demeanor in a client-facing role
Ability to create and lead technical presentations for management and decision makers
