The role involves handling client orders, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting Sales Managers, while also becoming an expert in CRMS functions and processes.

Responsibilities
Prompt handling and invoicing of client orders across multiple systems (CRMS and other back-end software) and the set-up of license agreements
Maintenance of customer relationships, including email and phone interaction, with the goal of building long-term cooperation
Error-free data entry into our sales systems. Use CRMS to prepare reports, process account performance evaluations, and create usage statistics for customers, as well as local and overseas management
Support for the Sales Managers in the onboarding of new customers
Capture additional market potential for bulk sales. Ability to run own sales and marketing campaigns
Provide ideas to improve the organizational processes and operational procedures to increase with this the efficiency of the whole sales department
Become Thieme USA’s resident expert in all CRMS functions and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience
1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
Prior exposure to a CRM platform
Analytical and structured thinker
Detail-orientation and high organizational skills
High initiative
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Ability to travel as needed to industry conferences (est. 15%)
Preferred
MLS/MLIS degree or coursework
Experience in STM publishing or library setting
