Responsibilities
Program and modify Swiss-style CNC machines (G-code)
Convert existing part programs for use on newer machines
Support operators and troubleshoot machining issues on the floor
Implement process improvements and assist in capital equipment projects
Conduct pilot runs and validate processes
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and root cause analysis (FMEA)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
At least 2 years of Swiss CNC programming experience
Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, Edgecam, or Esprit
CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor preferred; SolidWorks or Creo also acceptable)
Strong understanding of inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Hands-on problem solver who enjoys collaborating directly with shop-floor teams
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
